Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Hunt Valley, MD 21031 (Onsite - Locals only) Shift timings: 2nd shift - 2pm - 10:30pm Must have: Very familiar with hydraulics Controls/sensors/vacuum/motors, etc. Good with electronics Temperature controllers - must know how they work Sensor technologies Hydraulics Pneumatic cylinders (Flow controls) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED & Certificate and 2 years of experience in relevant field. High School Diploma or GED with 4 years relevant experience required. Knowledge/Basic Skills: Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills, must analyze, fix, and repair complex equipment and machinery. Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment specifications. Flexible and adaptable in working with/on a variety of equipment, processes, projects, or assignments. Understanding and use of trades mathematics, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments essential. Constant mental and visual attention performing moderately complex work requiring close limits of accuracy and tolerances. Must be knowledgeable in the following areas Use of a PC including MS Excel & MSWord. Demonstrate mechanical proficiency Demonstrate electrical proficiency Demonstrate hydraulics, pneumatics proficiency Ability to use multimeter Sensor technology Basic plumbing (fluid and pneumatic) Power transmission (gear box, motors, belt and chain drives) Basic machining Electrical troubleshooting of circuits from low level signals up to 480 VAC.
