Description Essential Job Functions: Competently Operate a 300 Series Excavator to install underground utilities-piping and rigging and other appropriate use of ExcavationCompetently Operate Loader and Grader to construct small (100x100) Tank Pads and/or other hazardous materials.
Other duties as assigned Required Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GEDValid Driver's License with a clean driving recordValid Commercial Driver's License Preferred-must be able to retain validity of CDL with no lapseMinimum 2 years' experience in North Dakota installing Flow lines, sales gas tie-ins, and pipeline Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Knowledge of Heavy Civil Construction and characteristics of all equipment functions and operationsKnowledge of proper equipment use conducive to conditions and assignmentKnowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to equipment use and operationSkills in operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safelySkills in daily maintenance of machines including repairs and inspecting equipment to identify possible problemsSkills in use of Computer/Laptop or other supporting devices commensurate with program and job applicationsAbility to use time and equipment efficiently in order to complete projects on timeAbility to communicate effectively in a team environmentAbility to handle stress and possess positive trait even in difficult or challenging situationsAbility to attend training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department Physical Demand/Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and may require use of ear plugs on occasion.
Work condition is outside environment (job site/field site) that may have inclement weather conditions.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles and equipment.
