Aerotek on behalf of its client are looking for Yard Equipment Mechanics for a direct hire position in Seattle WA Pay $40-$45 an hour dependent on interview and experience Job Description: -Services and repairs equipment (forklifts construction equipment etc..) diesel equipment and gas powered equipment
-Performs regular maintenance and repair of small tools including: small engine, corded tools, hose
repair, temp power cords, etc.
-Performs clean up of the shop/work area as necessary.
-Orders and picks up service tools and supplies.
-Prepares and updates a maintenance and service schedule for all trucks, equipment, and machinery.
-Maintains service logs as required.
-Other duties as assigned.

-Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems of various types of equipment such as forklifts and other heavy equipment/machinery.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment delivering good customer
service.
-Ability to work independently using good decision making and judgment to prioritize workload.
-Knowledge of and ability to follow safety requirements and OSHA standards.
