Equity Research Associate - Biotechnology

Needham & Company, LLC, a full-service investment bank, has an opening in its New York or Boston office for a Research Associate covering Biotechnology.
The responsibilities include assisting the Senior Analyst in sector coverage, source and build relationships with industry contacts, preparation of industry and company reports, financial modeling and analysis, and maintaining contact with management teams of companies under coverage.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess an advanced science or medical degree (M.D., Ph.D., PharmD., or equivalent) and 2-5 years industry, clinical, and/or consulting experience; Strong analytical skills, high attention-to-detail, outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
Experience with financial modeling and analysis is a major plus but a basic understanding of financial modeling is required.
