Job Description Position Summary: Jefferies is seeking an experienced associate to help assist in covering the clean energy sector.
Job duties and requirements include:
Responsibilities: Responsible for associate-level coverage of an array of clean energy stocksBuild and maintain detailed company modelsStay on top of company news, track filings, listen to conference callsWrite first look notes, contribute to longer thematic reports, and company initiationsField questions and communicate with sales and/or clientsMaintain relationships with company IR teams.
Qualifications: 3+ years experience covering clean energy on the sell-side, buy-side, banking or consulting.
Experienced in FactSet and/or Bloomberg; knowledge of industry-specific databases also helpful.
Advanced Excel modeling and writing skillsStrong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and energy-specific terminology/concepts Education: Bachelor's/University degreeCFA or progression towards CFA preferredFINRA Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 preferred (required within 5 months of hire) Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $165,000. The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
