Preparing you for a dynamic career at a pivotal moment in the next manufacturing revolution.Teaching you to apply educational theory to manufacturing practice.Inspiring you to make an impact by bringing factories to the next level.Why Join us?EXPOSURE Every three months, spend approximately one week at a different plant in North America with the rest of your EOM Cohort—learning about our businesses, products, and operations and building strong camaraderie.
MENTORSHIP Navigate through large and diverse business units alongside a dedicated mentor, who shares knowledge and advice essential to success and career development.
CHALLENGE Work on projects that are a priority to the business and will challenge your skills as well as the old ways of manufacturing. Participate in various trainings to grow your technical and business skillsets in lean manufacturing practices, data analytics, business acumen, project management, presentation skills and more!
IMPACT Enjoy our program's focus on impact, from Day 1. You will experience a unique level of empowerment—including responsibility for concrete results—all while gaining invaluable experience within a condensed timeframe.
GLOBAL Saint-Gobain operates in over 70 countries across various industries, including construction, automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, and life sciences. Upon completion of the EOM Program, you'll have the chance to apply for the Essentials Global Experience Program, allowing you to work and travel for projects with Saint-Gobain businesses worldwide! (Participants must have valid travel documentation, including a passport.) Required QualificationsCompleted B.S. in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Robotics)A desire to relocate and travel/ Valid passport for international travel requiredA desire to learn and leave your comfort zoneA desire to be a part of a community and cohortAbility to work with others in a team environmentNo immigration sponsorship is providedAdditional DescriptionOur 18-month development program provides participants a full-time operational role, where participants will partake in a development program that is designed to increase their manufacturing skills and their exposure to Saint-Gobain. Participants are provided with classroom-based E-learnings, hands-on action-based learning in operational environments as well as a plethora of networking opportunities all designed to accelerate your career development and future career growth. These trainings and quarterly travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. While start dates for EOM program participants may vary, program activities kickoff each year in July and end 18 months later in December the following year. Upon program completion, EOM Engineers will work with HR to find an operational role in one of our nearly 160 sites throughout North America. While a final placement role is not guaranteed, the majority of EOM Engineer graduates are able to choose from multiple Saint-Gobain sites for final placement offers.
