Estate Administration Paralegal

Cody, Cody & McCarthy, LLC, a fast paced, greater-Boston boutique estate planning law firm, is seeking an Estate Administration Paralegal with at least 3-5 years of experience with probate and trust settlement.
The ideal candidate writes well and is thoughtful, diligent, and highly organized and motivated.
Candidates should have a strong attention to detail, be able to handle a large caseload and be able to multi-task and work independently.
Practice areas include assisting the Attorney with preparing, and submitting estate tax returns and probate forms, comfortable obtaining date of death valuations and other necessary documentation as part of the estate tax return process and assisting with managing ongoing trust administration cases.
Candidates with experience drafting probate and trust documents and/or preparing estate and gift tax returns will be given preference.
Qualified candidates should have experience filing Massachusetts estate tax returns, Federal estate and gift tax returns.
Candidates with experience completing Estate and Trust accountings as well as Incoming Tax Return preparation will be given preference.
The Estate Administration Paralegal must possess strong communication skills and be comfortable with significant client, court, and third-party contact.
