Your New Role:You will be the mastermind behind the numbers, analyzing project specifications and drawings to perform precise cost estimations. Responsibilities include:
Downloading and organizing project information from General Contractors.Analyzing specifications and drawings for accurate takeoffs.Communicating with vendors for pricing and compiling bids for submission. Not required but preferred to have a degree in Construction ScienceProven experience as a construction estimator, ideally 1-2 years, with a track record of successful project bidsStrong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodsExperience in software such as Bluebeam, On Screen Takeoff, or other construction estimating softwareExcellent mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost estimationAbility to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and blueprintsAbility to manage multiple estimates and spreadsheets at the same timeAbility to successfully communicate with customers and vendors the requirements for each projectMust be authorized to work in the US.
