Req 31601285 Job Title: ETL Data Movement Systems Admin Location: Denver, CO (Open for remote) Duration: 6 months (Potential for extensions/conversion) Bill Rate: $44/hr (Pay Rate: $35/hr on C2C or $31/hr on W2) Duties: The IT Operations Business Intelligence (BI) Systems Administrator will provide production administration in a complex application and data warehouse environment; analyze, troubleshoot and resolve failures; provide clarity with in-depth data research; implement fixes.
The Systems Administrator will collaborate with teams across IT to resolve complex issues and provide optimal solutions, with an emphasis on process improvement.
Work to continuously enhance the stability and long-term performance of BI systems.
Develop and update documentation, technical procedures and knowledge articles.
Increase proficiency and scope of involvement on all activities through guided and self-initiated learning.
Participation in on-call rotation is required.
Skills: Informatica/ActiveBatch (or comparable Enterprise Scheduling Application): ETL Data Movement in Production Operation Role - Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve failures Utilize Workflow monitor to determine failure point Backtrack to Workflow Manager to further analyze components of a failed workflow viewed in monitor Interpret workflow/session logs to determine root cause of failure Linux/Unix: bility to navigate directories Understand file permissions and environmental variables bility to read Shell Scripts, VI Editor usage Development experience in an operation role is a plus Coordinate and Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and enhance existing processes Provide proactive administrative activities so that user-impacting events are limited and new deployments are successful Provide proactive support activities and process documentation Manage ticket queues and resolve or escalate issues On-call rotation required - One week every fifth week Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 to 6 years of equivalent work experience.
