"My favorite part of this job is working with the team to bring a vision to life. We create magical experiences and it's so fun to be such an integral part of that creative process. I like being in a roll where I can make a mark on an event with my attention to detail, creativity and customer service." "Delivering the wow. When I see that look in my client's eyes that this is exactly what they envisioned. I live for that moment and am so passionate about delivering an elevated experience. Achieving that is so rewarding." "Every day is different! You have times you are in the office and other times where you are all over the city or country in a new or famous venue. One day is a grand opening for a museum, the next is a corporation's 50th anniversary, the next is a social gala benefitting a local non-profit organization and then you wrap up the week on a rooftop pool in Vegas throwing a product launch party. Every day brings something new and exciting." FAUXCADES TEAM FEEDBACK: What is the most challenging part of this job? "The most challenge aspect is the hours during busy times. There are spots throughout the year that you are working multiple nights and sometimes all weekend. You are paid additional fees for after hours events which makes it worth it, but it can definitely make for a very full schedule." "The changes. Part of live events is the fact they are live. If an event is outdoors you have to have back up plans for bad weather. Sometimes plans change and guest counts go up or down changing many various elements last minute. You have to be flexible, resourceful and exhibit grace under fire. There are times that I enjoy the chance to be resourceful and creative but overall I would say this is the most challenging aspect of being a coordinator." "Everyday is different. This is my favorite thing and most challenging thing. I like the variety this brings but it also brings challenges. You are working at different venues all the time so you must educate yourself on loading docks, elevator sizes, etc. The variety of clients and events always brings something new and you are constantly learning. This can be challenging when it complicates the operational process."
