Who You Are:Seeking an Event Sales Representative to support our 5 tasting room locations. This position reports to the Senior Hospitality Manager and is responsible for fielding event rental inquiries, lead generation, maintaining recurring client communication, building vendor relationships, and developing lasting sales-generating partnerships. You will manage administrative tasks, guide the team and coordinate for the venue to enhance the taproom experience. Your role involves handling employee management, maintaining operation standards and ensuring effective event execution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATIVE Respond to inquiries via the website, google form & other industry platforms Create customized offers, prospectives and estimates for guests Ensure deposits, invoices, facility fees and final billing for all private events is complete Track individual sales and leads to keep accurate and up-to-date company sales reports for the teamCreate custom proposals for events, manage client expectations, and close event contractsBeyond "selling" to clients, the position is responsible for ensuring smooth customer relations and event execution, which may require visiting with event clients, stopping in to their events to ensure success, and managing events onsite, ensuring event execution meets client visionStreamlined + constructive communication with Vendor Partners + Shared Space PartnersSenior Hospitality Manager, Regional Taproom Manager + Shift Supervisors Oversee Private Event Steps of Service Create Event Orders for all private events Communicate via Google Calendar, email, Slack, Google Suite [as needed]Help advise the team on staffing needs and support the execution of the event from beginning to endCommunicate all event needs to the TTBC team with appropriate recommendations to maximize profit, minimize event costs, and ensure customer satisfactionOn going support of training in Hospitality, steps of service, event expectations + rules, onsite maintenance, event specific offerings, jockey boxes, keg maintenance, etcMaintain event space, resources & taproom cleanliness Work with Senior Hospitality Manager and Taproom Teams to plan events & execute projects for internal & external eventsEvents Sales Representative takes primary responsibility for the success or failure of the event from a customer service perspectiveOther duties as Assigned Requirements: Must have 5+ years of hospitality experience Must have 2+ years experience in event planning & executionMust maintain an upbeat attitude Must have good communication skills, both verbal + writtenMust become knowledgeable about our beers + offerings Must be organized and have the ability to multitaskMust be knowledgeable about industry required software POS systemsGsuite + Slack Schedule: Must work from event specific location or HQ (Ventura)Must prioritize and be present for high-touch clientsif unable to attend due to schedule conflicts, must designate to appropriate colleague Must be available to give tours to potential event hosts Pay/Benefits: $23 - $25 + Commission (not a tipped out position) Dental, Vision and Medical Benefits401K ProgramAccrued PTO & Paid HolidaysMonthly Cell Phone StipendMileage or access to company vehicle24 Hours Paid Community Service/Volunteer WorkBeer & Merch Perks
