Events Manager DSO Leadership Summit
Overview:
The Meeting & Events Manager is responsible for the production of the DSO Leadership Summit.
A strong background in leading event teams, event production, trade show coordination, and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with Hotels, Sponsors, and attendees is required.
In this role, you will have responsibility for producing a couple of live events per year.
The position will be responsible for all aspects of event production, including securing sponsorships for all live events, overseeing the promotion of the events, developing an agenda, vendor relations, and acquiring speakers.
This is an in-office position with some travel throughout the year.
About the DSO Leadership Summit:
In its 10th year, the event is a mainstay in the dental industry, specifically in the multi-location segment of the industry.
Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest events that specifically cater to this subgroup of dental entrepreneurs.
It is designed as a networking event that encourages open discussions around financial success and purpose-driven dentistry from top-notch teams.
Our goal is to build out and maintain a sustainable event model that is profitable and is seen in the industry as the thought leader that drives change and improves its participants' success.

Work with Marketing teams from sister companies to coordinate events, meetings, and speaking engagements.
Responsibilities:
Produce a minimum of three (3) live events per year as part of the DSO Leadership Summit brand, within the healthcare industry to build the company's thought leadership brand and generate leads for the sales team
Assist in new vertical launches and expansion via events (namely Podcasts, Webinars, or other Seminars)
Build out the DSO Summit into a sustainable long-term source of leads and thought leadership for sister companies.
Collateral management: working with other team members to redesign collateral as necessary, hosting pre-show meetings for trade show attendees, etc.
Update and manage the budget for the Summit and other events we create or attend.
Track all expenses and tie them to the overall budget.
In those efforts, you will work closely with the accounting team and senior leadership.
Own, update, and manage the budget for all events to ensure that all events are profitable.
Ability to travel and willingness to work on weekends during events.
Experience:
Extensive experience with all aspects of event production is key
Excellent written and verbal communication
Work well under pressure
Work well and collaboratively with others to solve problems
Experience developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers
Comfortable prospecting and securing sponsorships for events
At least 5 years of experience coordinating trade show attendance
Experience working in Hubspot or a comparable marketing automation environment
Experience negotiating with hotels, vendors, etc.
Ability to create and nurture relationships with both internal and external business partners
Compensation & Benefits:
This is an in-person position at our Walnut Creek CA office.
The salary for this role is based on experience within a range of $95-100k
Paid Sick Leave and Holidays per company policy
One (1) Week of Vacation accrues after 90 days
Two (2) Weeks of Vacation accrues after one year

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
