Salary Range: $82,887 - $160,000
The EW Systems Engineer supports a team of engineers with hardware and software electronic warfare solutions, performing analysis and coordinating products with management.
Essential Job Functions: Support an engineering team consisting of systems engineers and design engineers specializing in software, FPGA, hardware, RF/Antenna, and mechanical solutions. Conduct analysis of various system components to develop strategies for implementation and to develop requirements for EW systems. Develop and execute high-fidelity models using object-oriented MATLAB programming, including sensor phenomenology, signal processing, detection, tracking, and discrimination algorithms. Coordinate analysis activities and products with functional group leads, senior management, and other personnel responsible for executing analysis tasks. Document analysis results in reports and briefings. Travel up to 10%. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Math is required with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance for the duration of employment. Experience with electronic warfare, including electronic attack and electronic protection. Experience developing and architecting models and simulations using MATLAB. Knowledge of radar sensing physics and signal processing techniques. Desired Skills: Analysis experience in aspects of airborne EW systems. Experience with radar scheduling, signal processing, tracking, discrimination, and/or electronic warfare. Experience with MATLAB programming for conducting analysis and describing complex phenomena. Experience with Digital RF Memory (DRFM). Master's Degree.
