This individual will be responsible for providing support to the following senior executives: Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and two Investment Team Co-Leads. This person will be expected to develop a strong rapport with their executives and, over time, be able to proactively anticipate their needs.
This Role is a hybrid role with the following terms:
•This role will be 3-4 days in the office depending on business needs.
•Fridays WFH.
•Flexibility to WFH when needed.
Responsibilities include
•Calendar maintenance and meeting coordination with both internal and external parties, including:
- Proactive and direct calendar support
- Schedule Interviews
- Schedule meetings with service providers
- Coordinate IT Lunch and Learns
- Coordinate large team meetings
•Arrange travel for various team members as needed – both domestic and international
- COO travels bi-monthly to the Boston Office (coordinate flights, hotels and car service as needed)
•Prepare monthly expense reports and reconcile AMEX bills for various members of the team
•Coordinate contracts review with the Legal team and entering contracts into DocuSign
•Create and/or edit various presentations and reports on a recurring or ad hoc basis
•Prepare, review, and edit various documents and correspondences
•Attend team meetings to coordinate notes, agendas, and follow-up items
•Coordinate team events as needed
•Participate in ad hoc projects when needed
Requirements
•BA/BS or equivalent
•Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
•Previous financial services experience or general knowledge of the financial services industry a plus
•Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to work without a lot of direction
•High level of attention to detail a must
•Positive and service-oriented attitude
•Strong verbal and writing skills
•Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio Word
•Proven ability to handle sensitive information
•Strong organizational skills with an understanding of how to prioritize and operate effectively with changing demands
$70,000 - $85,000 a year
This salary range is estimated for this role and actual pay may be different based on a candidate's qualifications and/or years of experience. In addition, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus award, which award may be determined by individual, team, department and firm performance, and is subject to the terms of GMO's compensation plan. This position is also benefits eligible.
