Job Overview:
Shine Light, a service provider for individuals with autism, is hiring an Executive Assistant who reports directly to top-level management. This person will act as the "right-hand person" to enable management to advance company initiatives and goals, as well as maintain, and implement daily routines. This person will filter and attend to the day-to-day functions that are part of high-level management's role so that management can focus on high-level leadership and strategy functions. This person will also do administrative work to an extent with "Shine Light Connection Foundation", a new non-profit launched by the CEO of Shine Light.
Office Hours will be 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Thursday & 8 AM - 12 PM on Fridays. There will be some weekends if an event is scheduled. Who Is ShineLight? Ideal Candidate Is A detailed-oriented self-starter with prior experience in administrative work with executive leadershipSomeone who exhibits sound judgment with the ability to prioritize and make decisions.Can prioritize multiple tasks, and complete them on time, while not requiring micro-management.Demonstrates strong work ethic and integrity.Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.Comfortable interacting with high-level managementA team player capable of cultivating productive working relationships across the company.Resourceful, can-do attitude.Thrives in a fast-paced environment.Represents the mission and philosophy of the agency and management in their daily interactions with others. Skillset and Background Associate degree or Higher preferredFive years prior experience in supporting higher management or team.Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Familiarity with human servicesExcellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.Office management experience and skills.Excellent written and verbal skills This position is 30-40 hours a week, in person, including health benefits at the choice of the employee. After one year, benefits also include an IRA.
