About the role: As the Executive Assistant, you will be the right-hand person to the Chief Executive, providing exceptional support to ensure they can focus on strategic initiatives, decision-making, and achieving organisational goals. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that require a high level of discretion, professionalism, and precision. This position is located at our central office in Rivervale.
Duties for this role may include: Advising the Chief Executive on matters requiring their attention, including managing deadlines and preparing relevant documentation.Identifying and following up on action items from meetings.Preparing and providing documentation for meetings attended by the Chief Executive.Managing the Chief Executive's calendar, including scheduling appointments and travel arrangements.Preparing proposals, reports, spreadsheets, briefing papers, and presentations as needed.Scheduling Executive and Board meetings, preparing agendas and papers, attending meetings, and recording minutes.Proofreading meeting papers and collaborating with others to ensure accuracy.In the Chief Executive's absence, identifying matters requiring attention and either taking action or delegating appropriately.To be considered for this role you'll be: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to meticulously manage complex calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.An exceptional communicator, possessing outstanding written and verbal skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.Proactive and resourceful, anticipating needs, identifying potential challenges, and taking initiative to solve problems independently.A master of discretion and confidentiality, exercising the utmost professionalism in handling sensitive information.Technologically proficient, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, email management, and other relevant software.Working with us: At Southern Cross Care (WA), we are committed to being an employer of choice.
