The successful candidate will be the key leader in the overall planning, funding, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the company's facilities.
This role requires a high level of business acumen, collaborative leadership, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
The Executive Director will be tasked with developing and implementing short- and long-term plans for managing facilities, with a strong focus on capital renewal, operational efficiency, and environmental initiatives.
They will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of facilities, including sustainability and energy management, and must ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of ten years of professional experience in facilities management or related areas, and at least five years of recent supervisory experience.
A recognized certification or license in a relevant area is also required.
The role involves working closely with various units, divisions, and departments, as well as the College Leadership Team, to meet institutional objectives.
The Executive Director will be expected to engage with the community and governmental agencies, represent the institution externally, and demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Professional experience in the public sector and a master's degree in a relevant field are desirable qualifications.
