Executive Director - Hum

The Houma Terrebonne Airport Commission (HTAC) is seeking an Executive Director for the Houma-Terrebonne Airport (HUM) to lead its operations and drive its economic development. Reporting directly to the HTAC Board Chair, the Executive Director will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and directing activities associated with the airport's operations. Requires a strategic leader who can work closely with stakeholders, tenants, and regulatory authorities to ensure the airport's success in introducing electric and hybrid-powered Advanced Air Mobility and emerging autonomous cargo operations into high seas airspace, and build positive relationships with local, city, and state business leaders.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field. Ten (10) years of experience in airport/aviation operations, including five (5) years in a management or leadership role. Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) or NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) certification or commitment to complete following hire. Preferred Qualifications, Certifications and Licenses: Commercial Pilot Certificate or higher (not mandatory). Experimental/Developmental Experienced Graduate of a recognized test pilot school (not mandatory). Safety Management System Training & Experience. FAA Part 107 Commercial UAS Operator Certificate or commitment to obtain. FAA Class II Medical Certificate or ability to obtain (not mandatory). Pilot in Command during operational or business-related missions (not mandatory). Filing Deadline: September 15, 2024
