The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient operations and overall management and direction of the day-to-day functions of their Community in accordance with property policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations. They will hire, evaluate, coordinate, monitor performance, schedule, and supervise staff in accordance with company policy. The Executive Director is also responsible for achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy; achieving and maintaining budgetary compliance; professionally representing the property to the community and the Corporation, and creating a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for the residents.
Salary range: $155k-$170k
Qualifications: A valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification3+ years experience in the role of an Executive Director for assisted living, senior living, or memory care communities.Prefer five (5) years of experience supervising and managing employeesExcellent skills in communication, management, organization, and problem-solvingCompletion of two (2) years of college and at least three (3) years experience providing residential care to the elderly; or equivalent education and experience as approved by the Department of Social Services.Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations, and prioritize tasks and projects.Able to explain ideas and communicate complex ideas to a wide audience (employees, residents, family members, governmental agencies, public, etc) both in writing and verballyMust pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB TestsFor the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelinesWith communities across California, Hawaii, and Nevada, opportunities for career growth, relocation, and travel are significant.
