Martha Franks Retirement Community seeks a dynamic leader as its Executive Director. Martha Franks is a community of SCBMA (SC Baptist Ministry of Aging), a long-standing not-for-profit, faith based Life Plan provider. The beautiful campus is located in Laurens, a growing community in the Upstate region of South Carolina. This position requires strong leadership, interpersonal skills and an individual who passionately serves senior adults.
JOB SUMMARY:
Directly responsible for the administration of the community, insuring quality care and services are provided to individuals served thus furthering SCBMA's mission:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Execute on strategic plans.
· Lead and manage the day-to-day operations.
· Assist with and insure implementation of the community's sales and marketing strategy to maximum the residents served.
· Foster creativity among staff to deliver services that maintain and enhance resident stability, independence and satisfaction.
· Assist to develop and implement an annual business plan/budget to achieve financial goals.
· Represent community to governmental agencies, professional organizations, community groups, etc.
· Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff, residents and family members.
· Maintain all the standards established by the organization.
· Compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of the community.
· Demonstrate excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the listed essential duties satisfactorily.
Requirements:
B.S. or M.S. in a health related or business major, a South Carolina Dual NHA/CRCFA license and a minimum of five (5) years experience as an executive director of a Life Plan community, preferably in a multi-facility organization.
