What is the Job?The Executive Director, Multi-State Programs, provides supervision, localized leadership, and management of a team within a geographic area ensuring quality implementation outcomes; provides ongoing implementation support through strategic site/district visits in partnership with Implementation Strategists; understands and communicates the political/cultural landscapes within their area to inform differentiated area team support; and monitors progress and overall results.

What Will You Do in This Role?Supervise and coach Implementation Strategists around quality implementation actions through bi-weekly check-ins and collaborative site/district visits.Monitor all AVID impact measures using data to inform implementation strategies and team support.Maintain and build relationships with partners to create a system of communication that provides opportunities for quality implementation of AVID.Develop and monitor budgets and resource allocations to support quality implementation.Ensure the network of Implementation Specialists on their team are functioning effectively as collaborative problem-solving teams.Who Are You?You are an educator with experience in AVID systems.You are a leader who can strategically lead a team of Implementation Strategists.You are a facilitator with exceptional relational capacity.You are a communicator who excels at instructing varying levels of leadership.You are a coach who enjoys leading teams through implementation and improvement plans.You are a listener who aligns individual needs with successful outcomes.You are data-driven and familiar with using data to inform your work.You have a minimum of a Master's degree in education or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.You are comfortable working remotely with frequent travel (about 50%).Must be located in North Texas, East Texas, or Central Texas, or be willing to relocate.Nice to Haves?Experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent.Experience in nonprofit organizations or educational institutions.Experience leading large teams within the education industry.Experience with ELL/ESL and/or multicultural learning environments.Subject-matter expertise in special education, STEM, or related fields.Doctoral degree in a related field.*Allowable Substitutions: Any combination of experience, training, or credential certification that provides the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work.

QualificationsEducationRequired: Masters or better in Educational Leadership or related field.
ExperienceRequired: 5 years of experience in a principal, central office role, or comparable system-level leadership.
Preferred: Professional AVID experience.
