The Executive Director, Technical Event Production will oversee all technical aspects of live and recorded events for the FOX family of brands. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong project management, and leadership skills to deliver flawless events in high-pressure environments. The Executive Director is a strategic, creative leader who can effectively communicate with executives, guide teams, and leverage technology to elevate production value and support the company vision across all stakeholders.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee technical planning & execution for all FOX Corp events (live, virtual, VOD)Develop innovative strategies to hit and exceed event goalsMotivate, lead, and develop FOX Experience & Design's technical teamCollaborate seamlessly with all stakeholders (events team, vendors, etc.) to deliver exceptional eventsFoster efficient information flow through clear and concise communication across all teams and partnersResearch and integrate cutting-edge technologies to keep FOX event production at the forefront of the industrySource, budget, and offer multiple solutions for new and existing eventsDevelop and manage budgets, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and on schedulePlan, schedule, and manage resources for concurrent projects, teams, and deadlinesSecure necessary equipment and services through vendor coordinationTroubleshoot on-site technical challenges, implementing solutions for smooth operationsWHAT YOU WILL NEED Bachelor's degree10+ years of hands-on and supervisory experience in corporate events or broadcastLeadership, prioritization, and delegation in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStellar verbal and written communication with C-Suite & diverse stakeholdersEffective vendor negotiation skillsIn-depth knowledge of live production systems (video, audio, lighting)Meticulous eye for flawless technical executionUS travel with occasional global tripsAbility to work long hours (evenings/weekends), lift 50lbs, and work on feet for extended periodsNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER Experience with remote & multi-camera production, IP, fiber transmission and live streamingFamiliarity with post-production software & processes including video editingLive event safety protocolsUnion labor management knowledgeProficiency in various platforms (MS Suite, Google Workspace, Monday.com, Outlook, databases, etc.)#LI-DNI
