Responsibilities
• Serve as initial point of contact for telephone calls and guests.• Respond and refer individuals, as appropriate.• Provide direct administrative and budget support to various offices.• Coordinate general office calendar and provide administrative support.• Conduct research and provide technological and administrative support.• Write correspondence, create reports, and supervise student Office Assistants.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalency and three years of administrative/office management experience; or Associate's degree and one year of administrative/office management experience; or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.• Understanding of basic budget and finance principles.• Exceptional listening skills and ability to handle challenging situations.• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive professional relationships.• Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications or other data management platforms.• Preferred: Prior experience in a higher education setting.• Preferred: Experience working with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
