Position Overview As Brightcove's Executive Producer, you will partner with members of the Global Marketing team to provide strategic and creative insight to help develop and produce virtual events, as well as video and motion based projects as part of our overall digital marketing experience, social media, customer program, and lead gen efforts. You will support marketing program managers, and help in the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the marketing communications team. You have a passion for creating great virtual experiences that connect with all audiences, tell amazing stories in unique ways, and have what it takes to execute flawlessly. This is a new role for us, and we are excited to uplevel the production of our virtual event experiences to help elevate our brand.
Job Responsibilities Plan the entire production process for an array of video and experiential projects in support of our global marketing, demand generation, and virtual event efforts.Create and manage project scope including overseeing task timelines, operating budget, resource allocation, quality assurance, and technical production.Assess, create and implement processes to optimize workflow, improve the quality of deliverables, and track assignments across the marketing communications organization.Book and communicate with production companies, directors, editors, animators, recording studios, freelancers, etc. to ensure every aspect of a production is on time, on budget and on point.Provide input and options to marketing team for vendor selection.Prepare bid packages, generate estimates and secure approvals on estimates and overages.Engage with external speaker bureaus, as well as customers to participate in video experiences to promote the Brightcove brand.Work with finance and other business team members to ensure purchase orders and production invoices are generated and processed appropriately.Work with legal team to generate vendor agreements.Procure A/V equipment and book facilities for virtual events / recording as needed.Keep creative teams updated and inspired by sharing the latest in production companies, talent, and technology.Qualifications/Experience 8-10 years of production and/or virtual event management experience, including time producing video/film in an advertising, video production, or event agency environment.Sample reel that showcases examples of film and/or experiential content for broadcast and online platforms.Extreme attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.The aptitude and attitude to handle multiple projects at once with grace and good humor.A proven track record of bringing creative ideas to life.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.Working at Brightcove As the undisputed global leader in powering premium video for our customers, Brightcove recruits and retains highly qualified and motivated individuals, creating an environment where people can innovate and achieve their best, and we reward them for their performance by giving them the opportunity to share in the company's success. We are currently all working remotely due to Covid-19, but this role is located in our Boston office which is located downtown, in Fort Point harbor.
