Exhibit Builder / Cabinet Maker
As a Builder you will be responsible for performing custom cabinetmaking and carpentry duties to fabricate trade show booths and related exhibits.

Key Responsibilities: Safety Compliance: Demonstrate a commitment to safety by reading, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and guidelines.Documentation: Maintain accurate and legible records, including timecards, material charge-out lists, and cut sheets.Tool Proficiency: Safely and proficiently operate basic wood shop tools such as table saw, jointer, band saw, hand-held router, drill press, staple gun, nailer, and other related equipment.Assembly Skills: Precisely join various fabricated elements using fasteners designed for knock-down (KD) construction style.Material Expertise: Work with a wide variety of materials, including lumber, plywood, MDF, acrylic, metal, laminate, wood veneer, plastics, and others.Cut Sheet Development: Utilize knowledge and experience to develop cut sheets that optimize material usage and minimize waste.Container Construction: Layout and construct shipping containers and crates efficiently, adhering to estimated times.Time Management: Manage time effectively to complete assigned work within estimated timeframes.Test-fitting: Perform test-fitting procedures for exhibit components to ensure proper layout and set-up.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members in a cooperative manner and follow directions from supervisors.Assisting with other assigned tasks. What we're looking for: Minimum of two years of construction experience.Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Familiarity with electrical wiring is a plus.Ability to read and understand detailed construction drawings.Prior experience in the exhibit building and tradeshow industry is a strong advantage.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks and responsibilities.Must be able to work overtime hours as needed. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods working on your feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that involve frequent bending and stooping.
