ABOUT THE ROLE Based at Aero's Van Nuys base, and reporting to the Senior Director of Experience, the Experience Operations Coordinator will be responsible for helping maintain our exceptional Guest experience through the management of the Experience team's procurement programs, team schedules, whilst being a key liaison with other departments including Charter, Flight Ops, and Finance.
\n RESPONSIBILITIESManage ongoing procurement and efficient inventory management for the VNY base (Including catering, lounge supplies, uniforms, base and building supplies, printed materials, etc.) Ensure compliance and controlled spending, as well as effective spend and waste tracking.Manage the CSR Team's schedule (working closely with Experience Manager and Supervisor), including: building monthly team schedule, responding to charter requests in regards to CSR availability; actioning and coordinating schedule updates in regards to sold charters, sickness/call outs, leave requests, and schedule swaps. Ensure that the Aero spaces (office and guest-facing) are well-maintained at all times. (Including, but not limited to: handling new and existing vendor relationships at Aero stations relating to incoming fixture/fitting issues, building upgrades, required maintenance and such ongoing needs.)Provide general support for the team with guest service as the operation requires. This includes support in the lounge (as Ground Security Coordinator or Lounge Support), or the cabin (only as support to CSR – this role does not involve working in the cabin solo). Partner with other department leaders to safely facilitate events and/or special activities involving our Jets and lounge spaces. Maintain a deep understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements of the bases and operation according to the FAA, TSA, Company Safety Manual, and Experience Playbook. Other projects and duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTSExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.Self-starter: must be able to identify areas of improvement in the operation, autonomously develop solutions, and work as a team to implement and communicate them.Comfortable in a startup environment: collaborative, with high EQ, maintains composure under pressure, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to work on their feet for at least 8 hours. Ability to move, pull, carry or lift up to 100lb. (luggage, carts, etc.). Occasionally kneel, bend, carry and assist around the aircraft Must be tech savvy and proficient with Google Suite, Gmail, Microsoft Office.Must live within 60 minutes of the VNY Airport, but less is optimal. This role is at-base at Aero's Van Nuys office and lounge. Must have a flexible work schedule and be willing to work outside of 9-5 hours, including weekends and holidays, and be comfortable with last minute changes that can occur in the operation, e.g. with IROPS or last minute charter bookings.Must have the ability to fly. As this is a (DOT) safety-sensitive position (as defined in 14 CFR part 120[1]), all prospective employees are subject to pre-employment testing and random testing throughout employment for the following drugs and their metabolites: Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opioids, and Phencyclidine (PCP).
\n$33 - $33 an hour

Pay Range: $33.00/per hour in Los Angeles, CA - exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location Time Off: vacation, sick, bereavement, and holidays.
