Job Summary:
University Home Care is seeking an experienced Scheduler/intake with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Home Health Care to join our team in Livonia, Michigan.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare industry with a salary range of $18 to $25 per year.
The Scheduler/intake is responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient appointments and managing intake processes for new patients.
This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of home health care regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for home health care services
- Manage intake processes for new patients, including gathering necessary paperwork and insurance verification
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of appointments
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Monitor and track patient progress and follow-up on appointments as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scheduler/intake in Home Health Care
- Knowledge of home health care regulations and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer skills, including electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
