Parts Counterperson / Body Shop Parts Liaison

Essential Duties Participate in morning meetings with the Body Shop team and provide updates on parts orders for the body shop  Order and secure parts for the body shop promptly Check in parts deliveries Assist customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct, and all pricing is in line with the estimate Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers Pull and fill orders from stock and deliver them to Auto Body technicians Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary Notify the body shop estimator or manager when special ordered parts have been received Notify the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered Follow up on back-ordered parts Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts Maintain a professional appearance Other tasks as assigned What Gordon Chevrolet can offer you: Full-benefits package including medical, dental, and vision Disability Insurance, Accident Insurance, Cancer Coverage Complimentary Life Insurance 401(k) plan with match Paid time off Professional work environment with endless job training and advancement opportunities Work-Life Balance
