Standard 40-hour, 8-hour shift work week; orAlternative Workweek with a day off every other week Pay Rates: Experienced Advanced Inspector- $29.00 to $33.00 Per Hour (DOE)Bonus $3,500What Will You Be Doing? As our new Experienced Inspector (Advanced) you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our suppliers, team, and company.
Your contributions will have a direct impact on our success and yours.
Some of your duties will include:
Validating and reviewing products and materials to ensure they meet Supplier, company, and industry standards.Work directly with Suppliers and internal departments to conclude quality analysis on products and materials.Investigate and resolve Supplier rejections and claims.Interpret, investigate, and review quality specifications for validations.Handle complaints on non-conforming parts for validation and dispositionReview and disposition final rejections.Provide corrective action and root cause analysis as needed.Manage Supplier quality-related issues, waivers, defective parts per million (DPPM), etc.
via Supplier portals.Work jointly with Suppliers and suppliers on resolving supplier-driven rejections and issues.Support inspection teams on clarification of Supplier quality requirements and flow downsQuarantine defective stock while taking measures to ensure the issue is caught and resolved timely.Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.Provide interpretations and guidance to final inspectorsWrite or author Supplier-specific procedures.Use precision measuring tools to assist with the proper inspection of the product or material.Prepares metrics on rejections, claim reports, and DPPMs to deliver to management.Disposition of Supplier-returned materials What are we looking for? High School diploma or equivalent2-5 years of aerospace quality inspection experience2+ years of quality auditing, and test experience Experience and proficiency with the implementation of corrective action programsCertification as a Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, or Quality Improvement Specialist is highly preferred.AS9100 & AS13001 Training or certificationFirst article inspection experienceAny other inspection-related certifications are a huge plusWhat you need to know SAP ERP knowledge is preferred.Knowledge of various measuring precision toolsKnowledge of using databases and portalsUnderstanding of how to analyze detailed information.Demonstrated knowledge of reading blueprint specificationsIn-depth knowledge of shop mathKnowledge and demonstrated capability of reading blueprints and specifications of products and materials.Inspection interpretation knowledgeIf you're ready to embark on an exciting new career journey and be part of a company that is shaping the future, we want to hear from you!
