As a Superintendent at Cornerstone Contracting Group, you'll be at the forefront of our field operations, ensuring the successful execution of various commercial interior construction projects in the metro Atlanta area.
You'll be the key driver on our job sites, managing day-to-day operations, overseeing subcontractors, and maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in upholding our commitment to timely project completion and exceptional craftsmanship.
What you'll do: Manage day-to-day field operations for all phases of construction, including scheduling, preparing daily reports, and conducting safety meetings and inspectionsInterface with Owners, Architects, Building Officials, and SubcontractorsMaintain and manage project plans and schedules for commercial interior jobsUtilize Viewpoint Team platform for daily reportsAnticipate and resolve project issues and schedule difficulties, escalating when necessaryDirect and oversee work performed by sub-contractors and other external vendor resourcesConduct quality control inspections on all field work in progressActively report project issues, delays, status updates, and completion to the General Superintendent and Project ManagerParticipate proactively in weekly status meetings with current and accurate informationMentor and inspire fellow co-workers through setting expectations, consistent communication, and one-on-one developmentAct with integrity and demonstrate support for Cornerstone's values and employees What we're looking for: Technical knowledge of the commercial interior trades industryExperience with Viewpoint Team (major plus)Proficiency in using iOS devicesHands-on experience in managing commercial interior construction projectsTrack record of managing complex projects through to successful completionStrong history of building respectful relationships with internal and external team members, vendors, direct reports, and leadershipPassionate problem solver with a proactive, reliable, and resourceful mindsetStrong communicator, both verbal and writtenAbility to work well under pressure, self-manage, and set an example for othersHigh school diploma or GED equivalency (college degree a plus but not required)Up-to-date MVR (required on the day of the interview) Why You'll Love Working Here: Dynamic Culture: Join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
