Arrive to studio a minimum of 20 minutes prior to class start timeCreate a personal connection with each studentCreate a dynamic and motivating class experience that shows your personality and skills while adhering to Yoga Six standards and guidelinesSet up practice room appropriately: Equipment, Mat Spacing, Music, Lighting Provide top notch class instructionFollow up with students after classClean studio spaceBuild community and connectionCommunicate proactively and work with team to ensure classes are covered with a substitute in the event of absence Why work at YogaSix Oak Park?

Minimum 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide exceptional client serviceGenuine ability to connect with complete strangers on a personal levelWillingness to grow and remain a student foreverA sense of humorDemonstrate the ability to teach a safe, fun, and creative class with a genuine interest in the success of all students2+ years teaching experience preferredCurrent CPR CertificationPhysical Requirements
Must be physically able to walk through the classroom freely in order to demo postures and transitions in a heated room, monitor students' movements, provide hands-on adjustments (as needed and if desired by students) and facilitate dynamic, energizing, empowering and fun yoga and fitness classesAble to demonstrate exercises relevant to class style, as is frequently requiredPhysically able to lift and carry 1-10 lb. equipmentAdjust and operate equipmentStrong verbal skills (proficient in speaking and understanding English) Screened candidates will be invited to attend a preliminary audition.
Compensation: Class rate varies on experience/ability/formats.
