What you'll do
SAP recently decided to combine and harmonize all SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, establishing an end-to-end process for the Public Sector and regulated industries. The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. In this role, you will join the SAP Sovereign Cloud Engineering team. You will work closely with product and program managers, developers, and architects of all SaaS Platforms and be a key contributor in a large organization responsible for the engineering and evolution of SAP Sovereign Cloud's product portfolio. You will have the opportunity to solve complex challenges of scale and security unique to SAP Sovereign Cloud.
In the role of Expert SAP Basis Consultant, you will:
Work on Technology projects – installation, configuration, upgrade, migration, conversion, greenfield implementation, integration with other systemsProvide BASIS support for projects involving S/4HANAProvide architectural guidance on cloud migration (AWS, GCP, Azure)Design end-to-end security for SAP on-premise and SAP Cloud-based applications including two-factor authentications and single sign-onTroubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical problemsManage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, and be responsive to project and customer needsAdapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlinesBuild credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuously learn about SAP productsWhat you bring Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or similar areas10+ years of related professional experience working across a range of implementations, upgrade, and migration projectsExperience working in large landscapes/environments/customersSAP Basis and Security Authentication – Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions, S/4HANATechnically fluent in:Operating System (Unix/Windows/Linux) and database administrationSAP HANA scale-out and standalone deployment, administration, and optimization experienceCloud Knowledge (AWS, GCP, Azure)Knowledge/Experience in performance tuning, User Management, System copiesSAP Certifications in S/4HANA, OS/DB Migration, NetWeaver or SAP HANA preferredHands-on Experience with LAMA, FRUN, and SPC is an added advantageBring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
