As a Facilities Electrician will be the onsite employee to respond to system alarms and maintenance during shift hours.
The position is part of a larger engineering team which manages all maintenance, troubleshooting, and system development for critical Facilities equipment.
Due to 24/7 manufacturing environment, position sometimes requires overtime and availability The role is usually designated for a compressed work week schedule of 12-hour day or night shifts, where the employee works for 3 days one week and 4 days the following week, and is required to work 100% on-site.
Responsibilities include: Troubleshooting and maintenance of Facilities electrical equipment (motor starters, motors, low-voltage control circuits) Maintenance including Medium voltage generators, low voltage ( Site rounds which requires daily walking and stairs Microsoft Windows-based communication to share knowledge with other onsite personnel Some industrial/commercial construction including EMT installation, cable pulling and terminations Responding to system alarms while on shift, will be expected to work nights and weekends at supervisor's request.
Propose improvements in system design, component selection, and maintenance plans to optimize system reliability and sustainability.
Implement team ideas in terms of construction, configuration, and operation.

5 years' experience as a Plant Electrician or Electrician trade Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) Team player, solution-minded, takes ownership, self-managed Can manage difficult terrain, stairs, extended periods standing / walking, and can safely lift 35-lbs Extensive National Electrical Code knowledge preferred Electrical License (Washington Journey level or Oregon Journeyman / reciprocal) preferred 2-yr or higher college, or technical degree preferred Programming experience: PLC (Allen Bradley, ladder logic) preferred Interest in auto mechanics, programming, mechatronics, robotics or construction.

At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $26.08 and $52.30 per hour.
