The Facilities Intern is responsible for assisting with the planning and maintenance of Siegfried's 18 offices across the country, including Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment. The intern will be the second point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support related to facilities. This position will provide administrative support to the Facilities Director and Facilities Coordinator and manage office functions including: Work Order coordination, Security badge and access assignments, database management, daily office operations, coordination of budgeting/accounting systems, maintaining office records, and providing general support services for the divisional staff. Additionally, the Facilities Intern, under the supervision of the Facilities Director, will assist in managing all outside contractors in support of the Facilities Department, including maintaining records and contracts, coordinating project activities, and providing scheduling support. Most importantly, this individual will possess the confidence and ability to independently identify and resolve facilities related issues that arise in a timely fashion.

Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment.Coordinates preventive maintenance of all offices, including Interior Finishes, Furniture, Lighting, HVAC and office equipment.Assists in coordinating installations and deliveries of furniture or equipment, ensuring vendor certificates of insurance are current and meet building standards.Assists with overseeing the cleaning and maintenance management of facilities.Assists with the parking program and key card access for all sites.Communicates with all Offices to ensure facilities are clean, presentable, and void of clutter.Develops relationships and quickly builds rapport with all employees at the firm, as well as landlords, vendors and contractors.Expedites orders for all supplies of paper products, coffee service, and general supplies required for existing and new office buildouts.Possesses confidence & ability to independently identify and resolve facilities related issues.Able & eager to assist with handling issues in any capacity. The Facilities Intern is expected to work in person 4 days a week for up to 32 hours during the summer months. They are expected to work virtually up to 20 hours a week during the school semesters.
