Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator in Wilmer to manage the day-to-day maintenance needs of Schneider's buildings and grounds.
The Senior Facilities Technician will complete repairs, coordinate with maintenance vendors and handle other facilities-related projects.


Responsibilities: Act as the facility contact for a Schneider location.
Execute preventative maintenance.
Respond to facility work requests in a timely manner.
Handle all yard maintenance, including snow removal.
Take care of cleaning-related tasks.
Coordinate and monitor all contractor activities taking place around the building.
Solicit quotes from vendors regarding high-cost repairs.
Be on call during off hours to assist with facilities-related work, when needed.
Skills and qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
2-4 years of related experience.
Excellent facilities maintenance skills.
Experience working with vendors and contractors.
Familiarity with building mechanical systems and construction best practices.
Able to plan and organize activities effectively.
