Position: Maintenance Staff

JOB DESCRIPTION Role & Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or structures.Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance.Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or fixture repairs in kitchen and dining areas.Conduct regular checks on HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or functions.Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of premises by performing cleaning duties.Conduct repairs and troubleshooting in various areas, including carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant, including floors, restrooms, and dining areas.Handle inventory and stocking of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies, and equipment.Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests during operating hours.Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to address any maintenance-related concerns. Required Skills: Proven experience in maintenance, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and its maintenance.Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems.Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude to work with different teams. Physical abilities:
Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds.Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time. Ability to communicate well and maintain positive interpersonal relations with co-workers.
