The Facilities Maintenance Technician II performs general maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, office furniture assemblies and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) troubleshooting. The Facilities Maintenance Technician II repairs, installs, and removes equipment at company facilities and will travel daily between company facilities on the assigned campus.As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for: Providing facilities maintenance support such as plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, office furniture assemblies, minor electrical, minor fabrication, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) troubleshootingProviding solutions and operating independently on jobs that are assignedAdvising and researching repair methods with team membersEntering work order comments and timecardsTo be considered as a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent3 years of general maintenance experience or equivalent military experienceAbility to solve practical problems and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical and equipment malfunctions (such as a tire machine or vehicle hoist)Valid driver's licenseAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measurement, including fractionsReliable transportation to travel between buildingsSkilled in the use of power and hand toolsBasic power and hand tools required, with tool list to be provided upon hireBasic computer skills and good communication skillsGood driving record and reliable transportationGood verbal and written communication skillsA successful candidate may also have: HVAC troubleshooting experienceMachine repair and troubleshooting experienceSkilled in the use of a forklift and scissor liftAbility to work overtime as needed including weekends Our full-time benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, earned sick time, STD, LTD, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, paid holidays, and more.
