ROLE SUMMARY

The Facilities Manager & Bank Security Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of security, safety, and facilities management at the bank's locations. This multifaceted role involves developing and implementing security policies and procedures, coordinating facility maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, facilities maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the bank's employees, customers, and assets.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to security, maintenance, and repairs.
Conduct regular physical security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement measures to address them.
Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and fire suppression systems.
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees and customers during emergencies or crisis situations.
Annually train and educate employees on security protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices for preventing and responding to security incidents.
Serve as the primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and other emergency responders in the event of security incidents or emergencies.
Manage the day-to-day operations of bank facilities in Washington D.C., including building maintenance, repairs, janitorial services, and landscaping. Leads and ensures maintenance and repairs follow a consistent process for locations in Los Angeles, CA.
Coordinate facility improvement projects, renovations, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements related to security, safety, and facilities management, including but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Develop and manage budgets for security and facilities management activities, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Branch Managers, Operations teams, and Senior Leadership, to address security and facilities-related concerns and prioritize resources.
Stay informed about changes in security technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to security and facilities management.
Serve as a member of the bank's security committee and participate in meetings, training sessions, and community outreach events related to security and safety.
Prepare monthly and annual reports for senior management and the executive board.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required Education/Experience:
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in facility management and security management, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management or Business Administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve common goals.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education/Experience:
Banking or Financial Industry experience.

CERTIFICATIONS
Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Security Professional (CSP), or other relevant certifications preferred.

$84,361 - $104,209, annually
