It's an exciting time to join Fisher Investments' facilities organization. We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team and support the scaling and evolution of the facilities management group. The Opportunity: The Facilities Project Manager will provide project management support for a broad range of facilities related projects ranging from office rearrangements to new building construction and will maintain reports on the status of the projects, schedules, and costs. You will also oversee the daily execution of critical operations that require a high level of business process knowledge, and an understanding of existing facilities infrastructure. You will support on-site projects and report directly to the Facilities Site Manager. The Day-to-Day: Work with end-users, vendors, contractors, IT staff, and business liaisons on a daily basis to develop plans, schedules, and specifications for facilities projectsUnderstand the technical component of existing systems and business processes to complete requested changes within current infrastructureGather project requirements while assisting with planning and continuous improvements as projects progressPresent functional descriptions, capital and support requirements, anticipated expense budgets, and project plans to senior managementDevelop detailed project schedules and support specifications for suppliers, operating standards, and equipment requirementsTrack and manage actual expenses against budgets and contracts and provide scheduled progress reportingBecome familiar with existing vendor support contracts and analyze alternatives, renewals, and proposed contract changes. Review newly proposed vendor contracts to confirm they meet our needs and are financially reasonableAssist the Facilities Site Manager on a per request basis for various facilities related projectsYour Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in facilities project managementWorking knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical and HVAC principles with competency in building systems operationsExperience managing 3rd party vendor and contractor relationshipsStrong technical knowledge with comfortability supporting IT infrastructure development and maintenanceProven expertise understanding and defining business processes, collecting data, and communicating data-centric conclusionsExperience connecting and building relationships with important project partnersComfortable working in a large organization and across business groups, time zones, and variable schedulesAdvanced skills in ExcelCertification in Project Management (PMP)Why Fisher Investments: We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
