The facilities services manager maintains and enhances store condition across a portfolio of over 100 stores. Through strategic internal partnerships and an external supplier network, Facilities Services Managers make capital and expense investments to enable our store partners to deliver the Starbucks Experience every day. Facilities Service Managers ensure successful resolution to reactive/emergency service and develops/executes long term strategies for their portfolio. As a facilities services manager, you will…
Manage facilities for a portfolio of ~100 stores Forecast, manage, and execute expense and capital investments to meet or exceed set budgets, brand standards, jurisdictional/legal compliance, and performance metrics Manage and coach supplier performance to optimize a balance of cost, performance metrics, and service Educates business partners to deliver on standards and their role in preventative maintenance and store condition We'd love to hear from people with:
High School diploma or GED or 4 + years of US military experience. o Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in facilities or construction management, architecture, or business-related field
Valid driver's license Basic knowledge of database queries and analysis Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel and Outlook Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 3+ years affiliated systems management experience i.e. Work task management program, enterprise data reporting, mobile business applications 3+ years facilities, construction or related mechanical trade, with experience managing service and maintenance vendors 3+ years capital and Expense budget accountability 3+ years project management and preventative maintenance programs 3+ years retail or restaurant chain operations Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities Negotiation skills - Ability to negotiate rates, terms and administer contracts with a supplier network Knowledge of general construction Knowledge of standard building trades As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
