Class A CDL Driver Location: Wilmington, CA
Pay: $27 - $32 per hour DOE
Hours: M-F, 5 AM - 5 PM (Overtime, out-of-town, and weekend work possible)
Clean Harbors in Wilmington, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. Vehicles may include vacuum trucks, Cruscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. This position involves performing driving and non-driving duties both on and off customer sites related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner. Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps). Operate a variety of Class A trucks. Load and unload trucks. Perform manual labor on-site to meet customer needs. Properly placard vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations. Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports. Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules. Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements. Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures. Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week (if applicable). Handle site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials as needed. Required Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL with tanker, trailer, and hazmat endorsements. Ability to use various mobile devices. Ability to perform physical functions as per job requirements. Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical (by position). Must comply with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.34) by meeting facial hair standards for positions requiring respirators. Preferred Qualifications: Commercial driver experience. Hazmat and tanker endorsements. Previous Hazmat experience. Ability to operate a manual transmission. Previous manual labor experience. Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
