Summary: R&R Solutions, Covington, TN, is looking for an experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee and maintain building-related activities. This person will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning. This role will function as a working facility manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments. Help create, maintain and repair the electronic components and equipment used in any equipment or device that involves electricity. Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations. Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs. Work on site to keep machinery and specialty equipment running correctly. Work daily to reduce downtime and help reduce cost. Do daily preventative maintenance as needed. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Perform day-to-day electrician services as needed. Keep financial and non-financial records. Maintain maintenance records as required by City, County, State, and EPA regulations Other duties as assigned. Based on the above essential functions this job is considered to be a safety sensitive job function. Qualifications: Industrial electrical experience Ability to analyze technical drawings. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices Creative problem solving, ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 75 lbs. Ability to work from standing, sitting, kneeling and stooping positions. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (if needed) Ability to maintain safety at all times while on the job. Ability to work well on a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position. 2+ years' experience in the industrial electrical trade. A licensed Tennessee Electrician will be a plus.
