**Job Title:** --Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Plumber
**Job Summary:** --
Responsible To operate, replace, repair and maintain all heating systems and water and drainage systems including pipes valves, and fittings, water purification systems, pumps and fixtures; and to ensure all drainage systems are always operational.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** --
+ Operate, Replace, repair and maintain Domestic Hot and Cold Water Systems, Sanitary Drainage Systems.
+ Maintain, operate, and repair RO, DI, WFI water purification systems.
+ Maintain & repair heating systems including hot water systems, steam systems, gas fired heating.
+ Clear drains on routine and emergency basis.
+ Cooling & heating coil repair
+ Repair and replace all restroom fixtures.
+ Maintain pumps, strainers, and other associated equipment.
+ Perform routine, preventive and emergency maintenance and repairs including fixture replacement.
+ Maintains grease traps.
+ Receive and respond to service calls.
Take immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns.
+ Works throughout all buildings.
+ Supervise and train Helper.
+ Oversee mechanics' routing and preventive maintenance work.

+ Responsible to the customer for priorities and availability.
**Qualifications:** --
+ Licensed as required to perform desired work in the customer's location.
+ Familiar with plumbing installations including large commercial kitchens.
+ 3-5 years experience maintaining steam and gas heating systems.
+ Experience in the repair and replacement of copper pipe, black pipe, Victaulic pipe.
+ Ability to braze, sweat, and thread pipe.
+ Knowledge of plumbing and building codes.
+ Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical of maintenance operations.
+ Valid driver's license as required to drive any vehicles which may be assigned.
+ Driving skills with up to 1-1/2 ton truck.
+ Ability to safely wear a respirator, climb ladders, enter confined spaces, lift heavy objects and perform other physically demanding tasks.
**Shift: Day Shift, Monday through Friday**
