Facility Security Officer

Numerica is seeking to hire a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to oversee the company's daily security operations and help us expand to cleared offsites and/or multiple facilities. This is a small team so a self-starter and willingness to dive in are essential. If you want to work with a talented, highly technical team contributing to critical national defense and security technologies, this position is for you! What you will do:Manage Numerica's security program to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements in 32CFR / NISPOM.Maintain Security Clearance databases, including but not limited to DISS, NISS, NBIS, etc.Provide and track security training to personnel as required.Conduct security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins, and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property, and information.Conduct Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities in compliance with government regulations/requirements.Protect government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures through development, implementation and administration of an Operational Security program, security education, procedures, and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs.Lead processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for standard customer requirements.Perform document accounting, transmittal, and destruction.Manage and process Visitor Access Requests (VAR's) in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) for incoming and outgoing personnel.Perform Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Numerica facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.Perform any other duties as required in support of DCSA requirements. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Minimum of five (5) years of experience. Four additional years of work experience may be credited for a bachelor's degree.Must hold or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Bachelor's degree or higher.The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:Prior FSO experience.Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Experience working with COMSEC materials.Experience with multiple facility organizations and cleared offsites. Salary range:  $88,000-$108,000 estimated annual base salary plus incentives
