The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full-time, board-certified/eligible Ophthalmologist on the Clinician Track at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We seek an Ophthalmologist interested in teaching residents and staffing a clinical practice, particularly in an acute clinic and hospital consultation setting.
Position Highlights Key responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as well as developing curriculum. The clinical practice for this position will be focused on hospital-based and acute clinic ophthalmology care. The successful candidate will also engage in academic/scholarly activities either as a collaborator or independent researcher, and participate in faculty development activities tailored to the candidate's career interests and goals.
