Faculty Physician - Pediatric Gastroenterology - Academic Track, Clinical Scholarship

The Department of Pediatrics and The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota seeks a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on an academic track to join the Pediatric Gastroenterology team.
The team is currently comprised of six Pediatric Gastroenterology physicians and two Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioners.
Position Highlights: This position will include clinical duties working at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital and clinics. Additional responsibilities will include participation in the instructing of medical students, residents, and fellows, clinical practice through MPhysicians, and participation in service activities on behalf of the department, the medical school, and your profession. The successful candidate will participate in research projects and other academic/scholarly activities either as a collaborator or independent researcher and participate in faculty development activities tailored to the candidate's career interests and goals. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE). Faculty will be active in their national organizations and cultivate an academic environment for medical students, residents and faculty. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Pediatric residency and three year fellowship-training program in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Board-eligible/certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges. Ability to work in the United States.
