Youll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support.
The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations.

Responsibilities: Ability to manage hearings, trials, and case proceedings Enjoy taking cases to trial or pursuing aggressive, early settlements Must be able to manage a large docket Must be able to draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process Qualifications: Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in the state of Texas Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law practice Strong understanding of Texas family law code, statutes, and procedures Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Compassionate and empathetic approach to client matters Job Type: Full-time Pay: $86,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Hybrid work schedule Schedule: Monday to Friday License/Certification:
