Family Law Paralegal

Family Law Paralegal to join our Litigation Practice Group located at our historic headquarters building in Manchester, New Hampshire. This position will work with a high-performing team of lawyers and other professionals to provide our clients – which include businesses, individuals, and non-profits – innovative counsel and representation in a wide range of matters. Requirements Three to Five years of Litigation Paralegal experience Experience with family/domestic law Ability to work with several attorneys on a variety of cases Strong organizational skills Microsoft Office - Word, Excel. Outlook Responsibilities : Identify, collect, analyze, abstract, organize and maintain facts and documents in accordance with correct legal practice and procedure Prepare pleadings, draft interrogatories, and respond to requests to produce documents under the supervision of the assigned attorney Manage records and organize all discovery and trial data File pleadings, motions, documents with the court as directed by supervising attorney Summarize testimony and transcripts Obtain, analyze, and summarize medical records Assist in locating and preparing witnesses for trial; obtain and organize trial exhibits; and coordinate witnesses' appearance at trial Develop and maintain a working relationship with clients both inside and outside the firm to obtain and clarify information needed to substantiate facts, identify documents, and otherwise support legal actions Complete other duties, specific to the practice area of law, as assigned
