UNC Family Medicine at Poyner Place is a full-service family practice conveniently located off I-540, near Triangle Town Center treating both children and adults.

Responsibilities:
Provide professional medical services to patients, adolescent and olderExercise independent professional judgement in the care and treatment of patientsOrder and prescribe medical treatment, diagnostic testing, nursing care, and other health/medical servicesPrescribe medically appropriate pharmaceuticalsConsult and counsel patients and familiesProvide health and medical education to patients and familiesRefer patients as needed to appropriate medical specialists and other healthcare professionals to assure multidisciplinary care is providedDocument medical and clinical care in the patient's medical recordAssign the appropriate diagnosis and procedural codes to permit third party insurance billingAdhere to the principles of medical ethicsJob Qualifications:
