Practice HighlightsSaint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led 600+ provider multi-specialty group with a unique opportunity for a Family Practitioner (MD or DO) looking for variety! We are looking for a FM physician to provide coverage for providers out of the office on PTO or FMLA for an extended period of time (longer than 5 days). We're open to providers wanting either part-time or full-time. In this role, you will see a variety of patients and work in a variety of locations across the Treasure Valley, from Boise & Nampa to Star & Fruitland.
Each short-term assignment provides varied opportunities for providing services for a full spectrum of patients and pathologies ranging from new-born to end-of-life. Support: 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM clinic on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources.
RequirementsSuccessful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program.Board certified, or obtain certification within 3 years of employment.Obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases.Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho & Oregon Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.Ability to work in multiple electronic record systems.CommunityThe Boise Metropolitan Area, also known as the Treasure Valley, is anchored by the cities of Boise, Eagle, Nampa, and Meridian. Schedule:
Traditional work week (M-F), 34 patient contact hours per week, 4-day work week available, reduced FTE available depending on physician preference.
